Competitions
The bi-monthly competitions are "between" the member clubs. Each competition always includes categories in monochrome prints,
color prints and projected images. in addition, there are special categories at each competition. Nature and creative prints and projected
images alternate with photojournalism prints and projected images and travel projected images.

Time and Place
Competition meetings are held at Rockwell Collins (Kaiser Electronics), 2701 Orchard Parkway, San Jose. Competitions begin
promptly at 10am and we endeavor to end by 3:30pm. Judging of prints and projected images alternate each year between the morning
and afternoon session. In 2007 prints are judge in the morning and projected images in the afternoon. In 2008 the order will switch with
projected images in the morning and prints in the afternoon.
From Trimble Road, Rockwell Collins is the third parking lot on the left side of Orchard Parkway. Drive past 2701 and enter through the
open driveway with a small gate house on the far side of the building. Drive around the back of the building and park anywhere on the
other side of the building except against the fence, which is reserved for employees. There is usually a green artificial grass path leading
to the single door into one of the two rooms we use. It is the second door from the front of the building. The following times could vary
slightly if the morning judging takes longer than expected.

Calendar
The bi-monthly competitions are normally held on the third Saturday's of odd months. The competition year begins with the March
meeting and ends in January of the following year. The schedule for the 2008 calendar year is available for download.
